Part-Time CPA / Accountant Needed for Small Wholesale Business

We are a small wholesale business based in St. Louis, Missouri, looking for an experienced and reliable CPA / Accountant to support us with ongoing bookkeeping, accounting, tax filing, and financial compliance. Our business is currently small, so the monthly workload is relatively light. We are looking for someone who can build a long-term working relationship with us and help ensure that our accounting and tax matters are handled properly as the business grows. Responsibilities: Monthly bookkeeping and transaction reconciliation Maintain accurate financial records Prepare basic financial statements when needed Assist with federal, Missouri state, and local tax filings Handle or advise on sales tax and other applicable business taxes Ensure our accounting practices remain compliant with relevant regulations Provide general accounting and tax advice when necessary Assist with year-end tax preparation and filing Requirements: CPA preferred Experience working with small businesses in the United States Familiarity with Missouri accounting and tax requirements is strongly preferred Experience with wholesale, retail, tobacco, vape, or similar industries would be a plus Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software Reliable, responsive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working remotely Interested in a long-term professional relationship Compensation: Starting budget: $350 USD per month Because our business is currently small, the workload is limited. As our business grows and the accounting workload and responsibilities increase, we are open to increasing the monthly compensation accordingly. We are not looking for someone for a one-time project.
