Part-Time Digital Marketing & Content Assistant | Social Media, Video & Web

I'm looking for a reliable, creative person to work with me long term across several interesting projects involving boating, music, publishing/books and other business ventures. This is not a highly specialized role. I'm looking for a versatile digital marketing person who can gradually learn my projects and become my go-to person for day-to-day marketing and online work. The work will include: • Creating and scheduling social media content • Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and other social platforms • Creating graphics and marketing materials in Canva • Editing Reels, Shorts and other short-form video • Basic longer-form video editing when required • Adding captions, music, titles and graphics to videos • Updating websites and uploading new content • Basic WordPress or similar website work • Helping with email/newsletter campaigns • Marketing a boating-related business • Marketing music and live performances • Marketing a novel/book project • Helping develop content calendars and marketing ideas • Repurposing existing photos, videos and written content into social media material • Using ChatGPT and other AI tools to improve productivity and content creation • General online research and digital marketing assistance I am NOT looking for an agency. I would prefer to work directly with one person who can learn the different projects, understand the style I'm looking for and gradually take more responsibility without needing detailed instructions for every task. You do not need to be an expert in everything listed above. The most important qualities are: • Good visual and creative judgment • Strong written English • Comfortable using Canva • Comfortable editing basic video • Good understanding of social media • Able to make simple website changes • Comfortable using modern AI tools • Reliable and responsive • Willing to suggest ideas rather than simply wait for instructions The position will initially be approximately up to 10 hours per week. If we work well together, there is potential for considerably more work and a long-term relationship. I have a preference for applicants based in India, although strong applicants elsewhere are welcome.
