Part-Time SDR — African Diaspora Social Media Communities (Remote, $5/hr + bonuses)

We help businesses in the US and Canada pay teams, contractors and vendors in Africa and Latin America at a flat 2% all-in, instead of the 5-7% they lose on bank wires, with same-day settlement. 15 corridors live: Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, South Africa, Cote d'Ivoire, Senegal, Cameroon, Togo, Benin, Burkina Faso, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia and Argentina. THE ROLE We're looking for a part-time, fully remote SDR who already lives inside African diaspora social media - Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and WhatsApp - to find business owners in the US and Canada who pay teams or vendors back home. This role is 100% social channels: pages, groups, admins and influencers. Other SDRs handle email, churches, chambers and associations. Social is yours alone. You do NOT need to live in the US or Canada. You need to already be inside these communities online, with a real account and a real history. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Map and join the largest Nigerian, Ghanaian, South African, Kenyan and pan-African diaspora communities on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and WhatsApp. We give you a starter map of accounts and groups. - Build real relationships with page admins and group moderators. Negotiate shoutouts, pinned posts and permission to share. - Follow and engage the social accounts of diaspora chambers of commerce, business councils and association chapters. Their followers and event posts are exactly our audience. BOUNDARY: their public social audience is YOURS. Booking their executives belongs to the community SDRs. Do not email their staff. - Map diaspora influencers whose audience includes business owners. Pitch them our referral deal: $30 per closed business they refer. No flat fees, no free product, no upfront payments. - Engage genuinely BEFORE any pitch. Comment, answer questions, add value. YOU POST AND DM UNDER YOUR OWN NAME This is important, and it is different from how a lot of SDR work is done. You do NOT ghost-write as our founder. You use your own account, your own name and your own face. In social especially, this is not optional. A DM from an account that clearly is not the person sending it is the fastest way to get reported, banned from a group, and blacklisted by admins who talk to each other. That damage is permanent. We learned the same lesson on email: messages sent in the founder's name from an account with no photo read as AI and get deleted. The moment our other SDR switched to her own name and face, she started converting. THE 3-TO-1 RULE - NON-NEGOTIABLE Three genuine contributions before any pitch. A useful comment, a real answer to someone's question, a helpful share. Never post a pitch in a group without asking the admin first. Never DM someone who has not interacted with you. Never mass-DM. A banned SDR is worse to us than no SDR. If you get removed from a community for spamming, the contract ends. TIMING Send your business DMs between 8 AM and 12 PM US Eastern. That is when North American business owners are actually at their desks. Anything landing after 4 PM Eastern gets buried overnight. Community engagement is different - diaspora groups are most active in the evenings and at weekends. Do your commenting and relationship building then. Do your asking in the morning window. You have never been banned from a group for spamming, and you can explain why. - You can work at least 4 hours a day inside 8 AM - 12 PM US Eastern, plus evenings when the groups are live.
