I’m looking for a part-time SaaS growth marketer to help generate qualified leads, trials, and paying customers for my bootstrapped SaaS product, Member Kitchens. ABOUT MEMBER KITCHENS Member Kitchens is a SaaS platform that allows creators and professionals to provide meal planning, recipes, and related content to their own audience under their own brand. Our potential customers include nutritionists, food creators and bloggers, and other professionals who have an existing audience and want better ways to deliver and monetize their content. The product is established and functional. This is not a pre-launch startup. The primary challenge is customer acquisition, marketing execution, positioning, and distribution. I am a solo founder and developer. I have built and continue to develop the product myself. I am comfortable with technology and product development but am not particularly strong at marketing, content distribution, or consistently executing a marketing program. I don't need someone to simply tell me that I should do SEO or post more on social media. I need someone who can actually execute and learn what produces customers. WHAT I NEED I am looking for an independent marketing operator who can work approximately 10 to 15 hours per week and take responsibility for making marketing happen. The ideal person is a SaaS growth marketer who can also create and distribute content, rather than a traditional content writer. The person should be comfortable figuring out: Who our highest-value potential customers are What problems they are actively trying to solve What they search for online What content and offers will attract those people Which channels are worth pursuing How to turn traffic into leads and trials How to turn trials into paying customers Which activities are producing results and which should be stopped POTENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES The exact mix will evolve based on what we learn, but could include: Developing a practical 30, 60, and 90 day growth plan Customer and competitor research SEO and search-intent research Identifying high-value content opportunities Creating useful articles, guides, comparisons, and other content Repurposing content into social posts, email, and short-form video concepts Distributing content rather than simply publishing it Developing email campaigns and nurture sequences Working with an existing email database of approximately 1,700 contacts, including former trials, customers, and prospects Identifying opportunities to reactivate those contacts Managing or assisting with Google Search Ads Improving landing pages and calls to action Improving trial acquisition and conversion Reviewing Google Analytics, Search Console, and other available data Establishing meaningful marketing KPIs Tracking qualified traffic, leads, trials, activation, paid conversion, and customer acquisition cost Running small experiments and determining what is worth scaling WHAT I DON'T WANT I am specifically not looking for someone whose primary strategy is: "Let's publish two blog posts every week." I don't want generic AI-generated SEO articles, content for the sake of content, or social media activity that generates likes but no business results. I want someone who understands distribution and conversion. For example, if we discover that nutritionists frequently search for ways to sell meal plans, I want the marketer to determine: What specific searches indicate buying intent What content or offer should address those searches Where that content should be distributed What landing page should receive the traffic How we capture the lead or trial How we nurture the prospect How we determine whether the experiment worked I would rather have one excellent piece of content that generates qualified leads than ten generic articles nobody sees. THE FOUNDER'S ROLE I can provide substantial product and industry knowledge, customer insight, product demonstrations, and access to existing marketing assets. I am available to spend time each week answering questions or providing raw material. For example, I might spend 20 minutes explaining a customer problem or feature. I want the marketer to be able to turn that knowledge into useful marketing assets rather than requiring me to write everything myself. I can be given assignments if my skillset is required. One goal is to create a system where: Founder expertise, marketer and AI-assisted production, distribution, leads, trials, customers rather than requiring me personally to become a full-time marketer. AI Strong familiarity with AI tools is a significant plus. I expect the successful candidate to use AI to increase productivity in research, content development, repurposing, analysis, and marketing operations. However, I am not looking for someone who simply generates AI content and publishes it. The human needs to provide strategy, judgment, customer understanding, editing, positioning, and quality control. EXPERIENCE Strong preference for someone who has worked with: Small or bootstrapped SaaS companies B2B SaaS Founder-led companies Subscription businesses Creator businesses Nutrition, wellness, or fitness businesses Experience with SEO, Google Search Ads, email marketing, analytics, conversion optimization, and social distribution is valuable. A person who has worked at a small SaaS company and understands the realities of limited budgets is much more interesting to me than someone who has spent their career at a large corporation. BUDGET AND ENGAGEMENT I expect to spend approximately $2,000 to $3,000 per month initially, for roughly 10 to 15 hours per week. I am looking for a long-term relationship if the person demonstrates that they can produce results. I am not looking for an agency or a fractional CMO who primarily provides strategy decks. I need an individual who can think and execute. FIRST 30 DAYS The first month should focus on understanding the business and establishing a practical acquisition system. I would expect the marketer to: Understand Member Kitchens and the product Understand our existing customer segments Review our current website and marketing funnel Review existing analytics and available conversion data Review existing email contacts Research competitors Research customer problems and search intent Identify the highest-potential acquisition opportunities Establish baseline metrics Recommend priorities Begin executing rather than spending the entire month on strategy I don't expect instant results, but I do expect meaningful learning and tangible marketing output during the first month. APPLICATION Please tell me: What small SaaS companies have you marketed? What channels have you personally managed? Can you give examples where your work generated actual leads, trials, or customers? What was your role versus an agency or client's role? What would you investigate first about Member Kitchens? What would you do during the first 30 days? How many hours per week are you available? What is your hourly rate or expected monthly cost? Please provide relevant examples of your work. Please don't send a generic application describing yourself as a passionate marketer. I am particularly interested in how you think about acquiring customers for a small SaaS company with a limited marketing budget. The ultimate goal is to build a repeatable acquisition and distribution system that produces qualified leads and paying customers without requiring the founder to personally manage marketing every day.
