About the Role We are seeking a talented, organized, and dependable Social Media Manager & Content Coordinator to support the social media presence of several organizations and brands. This is a hands-on execution role for someone who understands how to take an established brand voice, content priorities, photos, video, articles, events, and other source material and turn them into engaging social media content. You should be comfortable managing multiple social media accounts and brands simultaneously without confusing audiences, messaging, deadlines, or brand voices. This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone with demonstrated professional social media experience who can work independently, meet deadlines, pay close attention to detail, and communicate proactively. What You’ll Do You will help manage the day-to-day social media presence for multiple brands and organizations, including: Managing multiple social media accounts across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and potentially other channels Developing and maintaining weekly and monthly content calendars Scheduling and publishing approved content Writing engaging, polished captions appropriate for each brand’s voice and audience Repurposing existing content—including articles, media coverage, photos, videos, events, announcements, and long-form content—into social posts Creating professional social media graphics using Canva or similar tools Developing carousel posts and other platform-appropriate visual content Creating or assisting with Instagram Reels and other short-form video content Performing basic video editing, including captions, music, transitions, branding, and resizing Identifying opportunities to repurpose content intelligently across platforms rather than simply posting identical content everywhere Organizing social media assets, graphics, photos, videos, captions, and related materials Monitoring scheduled posts to ensure content publishes correctly Conducting basic engagement and monitoring when requested Tracking basic social media performance and identifying content that performs particularly well Coordinating with other members of our communications, PR, design, and video team Flagging missing information, upcoming deadlines, or potential issues before they become problems What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate: Has at least 2+ years of professional social media management experience Has experience managing multiple brands or client accounts simultaneously Writes excellent English-language social media copy Has exceptional attention to detail Understands that different brands require different voices, audiences, and content approaches Is proficient with Canva Has experience with social media scheduling/management tools Understands Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Reels, Stories, carousels, hashtags, tagging, and platform best practices Can perform basic short-form video editing Is comfortable receiving direction while also working independently Is highly organized and dependable Communicates proactively when something is unclear Can meet deadlines without requiring constant follow-up Is comfortable working with organizations and executives where accuracy, professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion matter Experience supporting communications agencies, PR firms, nonprofits, professional services firms, executives, or personal brands is a plus. Hours & Working Relationship This position will begin at approximately 10–15 hours per week. We are looking for someone interested in developing a long-term working relationship, rather than completing a short-term project. You do not need to work U.S. business hours exclusively, but you should have enough overlap with the U.S. Eastern Time Zone for communication, approvals, and occasional meetings. Location This is a fully remote position. We welcome qualified international applicants and are particularly interested in experienced professionals based in the Philippines. Hiring Process & Paid Skills Test Selected applicants who advance beyond the initial application/interview stage will be asked to complete a short, paid skills assessment before a final hiring decision is made. The assessment will be designed to reflect the type of work you would actually perform in this role. For example, you may be given a piece of source content and asked to: Develop platform-appropriate captions for Instagram, Facebook, and/or LinkedIn Create a simple branded Canva graphic or carousel Demonstrate how you would adapt or repurpose the content for different platforms Potentially suggest a Reel or short-form video concept This assessment will be paid. We do not ask candidates to complete unpaid client work. The purpose is simply to evaluate writing ability, visual judgment, attention to detail, creativity, ability to follow instructions, and understanding of how content should differ across social platforms.
