Partnership Tax Specialist Needed – Form 1065, Section 754 & 743(b)

I am a CPA looking for an experienced partnership tax specialist to review a complex Form 1065 prepared by our firm and help make any necessary corrections before filing. The return involves: Death of a majority partner during the year and transfer of the partnership interest to the Estate Property distributions to the Estate Section 754 election and Section 743(b) basis adjustment Potential Section 734(b) and related partnership basis issues Partner outside basis, liability allocations, capital accounts, and K-1 reporting Potential partnership termination / short-year considerations Remaining real estate assets that were under contract during the year but closed in the following year The Form 1065, K-1s, depreciation schedules, basis worksheets, capital reconciliations, and Section 754/743(b) workpapers have already been prepared. We are looking for someone to independently review our work, identify any incorrect treatment or calculations, and help us make the necessary corrections to get the return filing-ready. You should have strong expertise in Section 754, Section 743(b), and Section 734(b), along with solid experience with partnership distributions, death of a partner, basis adjustments, and Form 1065/K-1 reporting.
