Patent Search & Filing Specialist — Singapore

We need an IP professional to run a full prior art / freedom-to-operate search and, if clear, handle the Singapore filing. ✅ Phase 1 — Search & clearance Prior art search across IPOS, MyIPO, WIPO Global Brand/Design DB, EPO Espacenet, USPTO and Google Patents Identify any granted or pending patents/registered designs that conflict with our concept Claim-by-claim analysis of the closest hits: what's actually protected vs. what's marketing Flag brands or holders whose claims may block or narrow our application, and where those claims are live in SG. Written FTO opinion with a clear go / no-go / design-around recommendation ✅ Phase 2 — Filing (subject to Phase 1 outcome) Advise on the right instrument: utility patent, registered design, or both Draft specification and claims, drafted to sit around any prior art found Prepare formal drawings — you must be able to produce or coordinate patent-standard technical sketches from our product photos and CAD/samples File with IPOS (Singapore first), handle examiner correspondence Advise on Malaysia route and timing, then file with MyIPO ✅ Requirements Registered Singapore patent agent, or IP paralegal/searcher working under one Demonstrated SG and MY filings — please cite application numbers or case examples Consumer/mechanical product experience preferred Comfortable producing patent-compliant drawings (or bringing your own draftsperson)
