Payroll & Benefits Implementation Specialist (Remote) About Us We help businesses improve their employee benefits while potentially reducing payroll tax costs and increasing employees' take-home pay. Our mission is to make implementation simple and stress-free for every client. We're looking for a detail-oriented Payroll & Benefits Implementation Specialist who will become the primary point of contact once a new client decides to move forward. Position Summary Your role is to guide new clients through the onboarding and implementation process. You'll work directly with business owners, HR managers, and payroll administrators to collect payroll reports and employee census information, organize the data, and prepare everything needed for implementation. This position is ideal for someone with experience in payroll, HR, employee benefits, or benefits administration who enjoys helping clients and solving problems. Responsibilities - Serve as the implementation concierge for new clients. - Contact employers after they enroll in our program. - Request payroll reports and employee census information. - Explain what information is needed and answer client questions. - Work with payroll and HR departments to obtain accurate data. - Download or assist clients in generating payroll reports from systems such as ADP, Paychex, Gusto, QuickBooks Payroll, Paylocity, UKG, or similar platforms. - Organize, clean, and verify employee census information. - Follow up on missing or incomplete information. - Coordinate with our internal team to ensure a smooth implementation. - Keep clients informed throughout the onboarding process. Qualifications Preferred experience in one or more of the following: - Payroll Administration - Human Resources - Employee Benefits - Benefits Administration - Insurance or Benefits Enrollment - Payroll Software Additional qualifications: - Excellent written and verbal English communication. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Comfortable using Excel and Google Sheets. - Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Professional, dependable, and proactive. - Experience working with U.S. payroll systems is highly preferred. What Success Looks Like - Clients have a smooth, professional onboarding experience. - Payroll and census information is collected quickly and accurately. - Implementation timelines are shortened. - Clients require minimal follow-up because expectations are communicated clearly. - Internal teams receive complete and organized census files ready for processing. Hours - Part-time to start (approximately 10–20 hours per week). - Opportunity to grow into a larger role as our company expands. Compensation Hourly, based on experience and qualifications.
