Pediatric RN, NP, or CNM – Medical Accuracy Review of 4 Newborn-Care Guides (~57 pages)

Summary

We publish a newborn-care education product for first-time fathers, sold primarily in the US, with additional customers in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Four PDF playbooks (~57 pages total) covering the first days and weeks at home are already written to align with current AAP and CDC guidance. We are seeking a US-licensed pediatric RN, NP, or CNM with hands-on newborn experience for a formal accuracy review. You will receive a structured reviewer briefing with our reference standards and a pre-identified item list, so you can focus your expertise where it matters most — this is a review of well-prepared material, not a rewrite job. Product details and files are shared upon hire. All materials shared are confidential and for review purposes only. Scope of work: Line-level review of all four PDFs against current AAP/CDC guidance — flag anything inaccurate, outdated, ambiguous, or missing, with suggested wording and source references (simple RED/YELLOW/GREEN triage). Consistency check across the four documents (they overlap on fever escalation, safe sleep, and crying protocols). After we implement your feedback: a short written sign-off statement for the revised versions. Credit by name: willingness to be credited by name and credentials in the guides and on our website ("Reviewed for medical accuracy by [Name], [Credentials]") is required for this engagement. The credit is contractually protected on your side: version-bound, factual attribution only, and revocable by you with notice. A short release agreement covers the details. Requirements: Active US license (RN, NP, or CNM — we verify via Nursys or your state board before hire) 3+ years of pediatric, newborn, NICU, or postpartum experience Prior review of consumer health content is a plus, not a must Structure and payment: Fixed price covering both the review and the name credit, paid in two milestones: 50% on delivery of the review document (target: within 10–14 days of start), 50% on final sign-off and signed release after our revision. We estimate 8–12 hours of total effort across both milestones. Deliverable format is flexible — PDF comments, spreadsheet, or memo, whichever you prefer. In your proposal, please include: your license type and state, a sentence or two about your newborn experience, and confirmation that you are open to being credited by name.
