Performance Marketer (Paid Lead Generation)
Worldwide
Performance Marketer (Paid Lead Generation) Owns paid acquisition end to end across Meta, LinkedIn and Google Ads. Starting as one generalist who can run all three, with channel specialists added later as spend and volume justify it. Must have run paid campaigns for US B2B audiences. What they will do Build and run lead generation campaigns across LinkedIn Ads, Meta and Google Ads, including search, retargeting and lead form campaigns. Own audience and targeting build: job titles, firmographics, intent signals, lookalikes, custom and retargeting audiences. Write and iterate ad copy and creative briefs for each persona: SMB owners, CPAs, fractional CFOs and CHROs, investors, brokers. Build and test landing pages and forms, and specify what the developer needs to implement. Set up and validate tracking: conversion events, pixels, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Google Ads and Analytics 4 goals, UTM discipline, offline conversion import where needed. Run structured testing on creative, audience, offer and landing page, one variable at a time. Manage budget allocation across channels and shift spend based on cost per qualified lead, not cost per click. Report weekly on spend, cost per lead, lead quality, pipeline contribution and channel comparison, with a clear recommendation each cycle. Coordinate handover of leads into the CRM and outreach sequences so nothing sits unworked. Skills required 4 to 7 years running paid acquisition, with at least 3 years on US B2B or B2B SaaS audiences. Proven results with US-based clients. Portfolios must include account names or anonymised case studies with actual spend levels, cost per lead and time period. Hands-on platform depth in all three: LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads. Not one strong channel and two claims. LinkedIn Ads specifically, since this is the primary B2B channel and the most expensive to get wrong. Tracking and attribution setup: Google Tag Manager, Analytics 4, conversion APIs, server side events where relevant. Landing page and offer thinking. Must be able to say when the problem is the page, not the ad. Comfortable working with small budgets and reporting honestly when a channel is not working. US time zones overlap for at least part of the working day, and clear written English.
