Personal Brand + Founder’s Office Assistant
Worldwide
Part-time | Remote | U.S.-based | $250/month to start I'm a startup operator and founder looking for someone to help me intentionally build me as a personal brand. I've spent my career building and scaling across global hospitality, real estate technology, operations, and venture-backed startups. Today, I'm building my own companies and increasingly stepping into conversations around startups, emerging industries, technology, community, real estate, and what it actually takes to build something from zero. I have the experience and stories. What I don't have is someone waking up every morning thinking: "How do we get Nahnyonga seen, heard, and into the right rooms?" That's the job. I'm looking for a highly resourceful, proactive person who can operate somewhere between a personal brand manager, executive assistant, researcher, and junior Chief of Staff. What You'll Own Your goal is to turn my experiences, ideas, projects, and opinions into visibility and opportunities. That could mean: Helping manage and grow my LinkedIn presence Turning my voice notes, conversations, experiences, and ideas into posts Creating and maintaining a simple content calendar Identifying speaking opportunities, panels, podcasts, conferences, communities, awards, fellowships, and events I should be part of Researching people and organizations I should know Drafting outreach and applications on my behalf Finding timely topics I should be commenting on Repurposing ideas across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, X, etc. Keeping a running database of opportunities and relationships Following up so opportunities don't disappear into a spreadsheet Looking at my background and proactively saying, "You should be here. You should know this person. You should talk about this." I don't want to give you a task list every morning. I want someone who researches, thinks, brings me recommendations, drafts the work, and gets it as close to finished as possible so that my primary job is reviewing and saying yes/no. Who I'm Looking For You might be early in your career. That's completely fine. I'm much more interested in someone who is: Extremely resourceful A strong writer Chronically online in a useful way Comfortable with AI tools Good at internet research Familiar with LinkedIn and social media Interested in startups, founders, culture, technology, and emerging industries Organized enough to manage multiple moving pieces Comfortable taking initiative without waiting for instructions Able to learn someone's voice instead of producing generic "thought leadership" Bonus points if you've worked with founders, executives, creators, PR, communications, social media, or personal brands. What Success Looks Like I want to go from having a relatively small online footprint to building a recognizable voice and body of work around who I already am. Over time, I want this work to lead to: more visibility → stronger network → more invitations → speaking opportunities → podcasts/panels → interesting rooms → business opportunities. We're not chasing followers for the sake of followers. We're building reputation, relevance, and access. Compensation The starting budget is $250/month. I recognize this is a small initial retainer, so I don't expect this to be a full-time workload. We'll prioritize the highest-leverage work and build a lightweight system. However, I am specifically looking for someone who wants to grow with this role. If you demonstrate that you can take ownership and create meaningful results, I expect the scope, responsibility, and compensation to increase significantly. To Apply Please don't send me a generic cover letter. Instead, send me: Your LinkedIn and/or examples of social accounts or personal brands you've worked on. 2–3 examples of writing you're proud of. Three places, opportunities, podcasts, events, communities, or conversations you think someone with my background should be trying to get into. One thing you would do in your first week if your job were to make Nahnyonga Todmia more visible. Tell me why this role sounds interesting to you. Important: I'm not looking for someone who needs me to tell them what to do every day. I'm looking for someone who sees an opportunity, brings it to me with a recommendation, and moves it forward.
