Photos for Waymo Ojaj
Worldwide
We are looking for a local photographer or automotive technology enthusiast to take detailed close-up photos of all externally mounted sensor modules on the new Waymo Ojai robotaxi. The vehicle is currently operating in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Phoenix. The contractor must be physically located in one of these cities and have access to the Waymo ride-hailing service. The assignment may require requesting several Waymo rides until a Waymo Ojai is assigned. Photos of the older Jaguar I-Pace Waymo vehicle will not be accepted. What we need We need high-resolution close-up photographs of every externally visible sensor module and sensor assembly on the vehicle. This includes: • Roof-mounted sensor modules. • Sensor assemblies on the front of the vehicle. • Sensor assemblies on the rear of the vehicle. • Sensor modules located on the vehicle corners. • Sensor modules mounted on the sides, fenders, pillars, bumpers, or body panels. • Visible cameras, lidar units, radar covers, and other externally mounted sensing equipment. • Sensor windows, protective covers, mounting interfaces, fasteners, seals, and cleaning systems. For every sensor module, please provide: 1. One wider photo showing the module’s location on the vehicle. 2. One sharp close-up taken directly in front of the module. 3. Close-up photos from the left and right sides. 4. Additional angles showing the module’s shape, mounting, apertures, and visible components. Photo requirements • Use a modern high-end smartphone or a dedicated camera. • Take photos in daylight and in good lighting conditions. • Images must be sharp and properly focused. • Use the highest available resolution. • Do not use digital zoom. • Submit original, uncompressed files with EXIF metadata. • Take enough photos to document every external sensor module completely. • Include one continuous 4K walkaround video focused on the external sensor modules. • Include a screenshot from the Waymo app confirming that the assigned vehicle was a Waymo Ojai. What we do not need • Interior photographs. • General lifestyle or artistic photographs. • Passenger experience reviews. • Photos of the older Waymo Jaguar I-Pace. • Photos focused mainly on the vehicle body, wheels, seats, or displays. The priority is detailed technical photography of all sensor blocks located outside the vehicle. Safety and access Photograph only what is legally and safely visible from a public location or during a normal Waymo ride. Do not touch, cover, move, obstruct, open, disassemble, or interfere with any part of the vehicle. Do not climb on the vehicle or enter restricted Waymo facilities. When applying Please provide: • Your city. • Confirmation that you can use the Waymo service. • Your phone or camera model. • Examples of technical, automotive, or product photography. • Your hourly rate. • Your availability during the next seven days.
