Summary

We are looking for an experienced Playwright QA Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our web applications. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining automated tests, identifying defects, and working closely with developers and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Responsibilities Develop and maintain automated end-to-end tests using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript. Design scalable and maintainable automation frameworks using the Page Object Model (POM). Create and execute functional, regression, smoke, and integration test suites. Analyze test failures, troubleshoot flaky tests, and improve test stability. Perform API testing and validate backend integrations. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to identify and resolve defects. Participate in test planning, test case design, and release validation. Maintain clear test documentation and automation reports. Continuously improve QA processes, test coverage, and automation efficiency. Requirements 5+ years of experience in QA automation/testing. Strong hands-on experience with Playwright. Proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript. Experience with Page Object Model and automation framework design. Strong understanding of web technologies, DOM, selectors, waits, and browser automation. Experience with REST API testing using tools such as Postman. Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and the SDLC. Experience with Jira or similar defect-tracking tools. Good analytical, debugging, and communication skills. Nice to Have Experience with Cypress or Selenium. Experience testing responsive web applications across multiple browsers. Knowledge of performance or security testing. Experience with Docker or cloud-based testing environments. Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams. What We Offer Competitive compensation.
