Podcast Episode Editor (Riverside.fm) — Project-Based / Per-Episode
Worldwide
Company: Real Men Apparel Company (RMAC) Show: Real Men Real Talk (RMRT) — our weekly video podcast and livestream Engagement: Project basis, per episode, with the potential to move into a steady weekly slot for the right person Location: Remote ABOUT US Real Men Apparel Company makes men's apparel and basics, and Real Men Real Talk is our weekly show — real conversations, no fluff, hosted by our founder and co-host. We record in Riverside.fm and publish on a weekly cadence, so reliability and turnaround matter as much as raw editing skill. We're looking for an editor who can take our raw Riverside recording and hand back a clean, polished, publish-ready episode without a lot of hand-holding. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Edit each weekly episode inside Riverside.fm (this is a hard requirement — you must be comfortable working natively in the Riverside editor) - Clean up the raw recording: remove dead air, filler words, false starts, and off-topic tangents - Level and clean the audio — noise reduction, consistent volume across speakers - Basic video polish: cut to the active speaker, tighten pacing, keep the energy up - Add our standard intro/outro and on-screen name graphics (lower thirds) — we provide these assets - Export the final episode ready for publishing NICE TO HAVE (NOT REQUIRED) - Experience producing short-form clips / vertical Shorts from long-form episodes - Familiarity with YouTube publishing - Basic show-notes / timestamp writing WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Proven experience editing video podcasts, ideally in Riverside - A portfolio or 2–3 samples of episodes you've cut - Consistent, dependable weekly turnaround — we publish on a schedule and can't slip - Good editorial instincts: you know what to cut to keep a conversation moving - Clear communicator who takes direction and delivers on time COMPENSATION $75–$150 per episode, depending on experience and turnaround. We're open to your rate if your work justifies it. Please note: the budget shown on this post reflects a single episode. This is a per-episode engagement, not a lump sum covering multiple episodes. Each episode is paid separately. Includes one round of revision notes per episode. Additional rounds can be quoted separately. HOW TO APPLY 1. Send a short note about your podcast editing experience 2. Include 2–3 sample episodes (Riverside experience is a big plus — mention it) 3. Tell us your per-episode rate and typical turnaround time We'll start with one paid trial episode before committing to the ongoing weekly. If it's a fit, this becomes a steady, recurring gig.
