Podcast Video Editor

We’re looking for a podcast video editors to help us clear a backlog of 11 episodes, with ongoing weekly work available after that. We’re a podcast production studio, so the workflow is already built. You won’t be starting from scratch or trying to figure out what style we want. If the first episode goes well, there is more to go ### What you’ll edit For each episode: **Main episode** * Multi-camera podcast edit * Audio cleanup, including noise, levels, breaths and filler where needed * Separate MP3 audio export * Adobe Premiere source files **3 to 5 vertical clips** * 9:16 format * Around 30 to 90 seconds each * Burned-in captions * We give you the exact timestamps, so you don’t need to hunt through the episode looking for clips Episodes are usually 60 minutes of raw footage Turnaround is **3 business days per episode**. ### We make the workflow pretty straightforward For every episode, we give you: * Raw footage, synced and organised * A clear written editing brief * Exact timestamps for all social clips * Our Premiere Pro project template * Titles, lower thirds and safe zones already set up * Export presets We already have a house style. We’re not asking you to reinvent it. We need someone who can follow the system, make good editing decisions and deliver consistently. ### What we need from you * Adobe Premiere Pro * Experience editing podcasts, interviews or other long-form content * Experience editing vertical clips with captions * Reliable internet, as the footage can be large * Good communication * Ability to hit deadlines And if something is going to be late, just tell us early. Things happen. Silence is the problem. **Nice to have:** After Effects, Frame.io experience, and your own audio-repair tools. ### How hiring works 1. Apply and answer the questions below. 2. Shortlisted editors complete one **paid trial** using real footage we provide. It will be a 30 to 45 second highlight edit, plus a short Loom explaining your editing choices. 3. If it’s a good fit, we’ll put you straight onto the episode backlog. We pay **per episode**, with payment released after delivery and approval. We’re hiring now, and once the editing slots are filled, we’ll close the job. ### Please answer these five questions when applying 1.
