Polish-Speaking Tour Guides / Interpreters in Japan (Multiple Cities, Oct 2026)

Job Description: We are a translation and interpretation agency based in Tokyo, Japan. We are currently looking for enthusiastic Polish-speaking interpreters/tour guides to assist cruise ship passengers during their shore excursions at various ports across Japan in October 2026. Even if you have no prior experience as a tour guide, we highly encourage you to apply if you are interested! Project Overview Target Audience: A group of approximately 30–35 cruise ship passengers (traveling in 1 bus). Work Hours: Full-day, approx. 8 hours per city (typically 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM). Scope of Work: Shore excursions only. You will guide the guests locally during the day while they are off the ship. You will not be required to board the cruise ship or act as a through-guide. Tour Conductor/Leader: Whether a dedicated tour conductor will accompany the group is currently TBD. Requirements & Qualifications Language: Fluent or Native in Polish. (Conversational Japanese is required for coordination with our team). Experience: Beginners are entirely welcome! Licenses: You do NOT need a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter certificate or a Tour Conductor license. Dates & Locations You do not need to be available for the entire itinerary! We gladly accept applications from freelancers who can only cover 1 day / 1 city.
