seeking an experienced researcher to conduct a comprehensive, evidence-based analysis of a Canadian municipal election campaign. The goal is to produce a factual, well-documented assessment of a political landscape, identify strengths and weaknesses, and help inform campaign strategy. Candidates with backgrounds in investigative research, journalism, public policy, political science, municipal government, or competitive intelligence are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities You will conduct independent research using publicly available sources to produce a detailed report covering: Candidate Research Public voting record Major policy positions Committee memberships and attendance Campaign history Public statements and interviews Media coverage Community involvement Previous campaign promises (where applicable) Public Sentiment Analysis Research public opinion using publicly available sources, including: Local news Public forums Reddit Public Facebook discussions Community organizations Public meeting records Editorials and opinion pieces Summarize recurring themes, concerns, praise, and criticism. SWOT Analysis Prepare an evidence-based assessment including: Strengths Weaknesses Opportunities Threats Every conclusion should reference supporting sources. Timeline Create a chronological timeline of significant events, initiatives, policy decisions, and notable public moments. Key Issues Identify: Most discussed community issues Areas where residents appear dissatisfied Areas where residents appear supportive Emerging trends Vulnerability Assessment Identify areas that could become campaign issues based on publicly available information.
