Power BI Developer Required – Build Tender & Pipeline Dashboards from Excel

We are looking for an experienced Power BI developer to create a professional suite of interactive dashboards using an existing Excel Tender Register as the data source. The Excel workbook is already developed and contains structured tender information, including: Client and project details Business division Tender status Tender received and submission dates Project start and end dates Tender and reporting values Probability percentages Weighted values Action owners Monthly and quarterly project forecasts The Power BI report should connect directly to the Excel data so that, when the Tender Register is updated, the dashboards can be refreshed without manually rebuilding reports or transferring information. Scope of work The successful freelancer will: Review the existing Excel workbook and recommend any necessary improvements to the source-data structure. Connect Power BI directly to the Excel Tender Register, preferably from SharePoint/OneDrive. Clean and transform the information using Power Query. Build a reliable data model with appropriate DAX measures. Distribute project values across the period between each project’s start and end dates. Calculate monthly and quarterly forecast values without requiring separate forecast columns in Excel. Create clear, professional and interactive dashboards. Add slicers and drill-down functionality. Ensure new tender rows are automatically included when the report refreshes. Clearly identify records with missing or TBC dates. Provide the completed editable Power BI .pbix file. Provide a short handover explaining how to update, refresh and maintain the report. The entire project value must not simply be assigned to its starting quarter.
