Power BI Developer - Sage 100 / MAS 90 ODBC + Manufacturing Executive Dashboards

We're a U.S.-based manufacturing company looking for an experienced Power BI developer to build automated executive and operational dashboards using Sage 100 Standard / MAS 90 as the primary source of truth. **Important:** Our Sage 100 environment does **not** use a SQL backend. Sage data is available through the **SOTAMAS90 ODBC datasource**. Experience working with Sage 100/MAS 90 through ODBC is strongly preferred. ### Phase 1 - Sage → Power BI Connectivity & Validation The first milestone will be a paid proof of concept: * Connect Sage 100 / MAS 90 to Power BI through ODBC * Determine whether a staging database should be used between Sage and Power BI * Pull several core Sage tables successfully * Configure a reliable refresh process * Validate sample data against existing Sage reports We will only proceed to the full dashboard build once Phase 1 connectivity and data accuracy are confirmed. ### Phase 2 - Dashboard Development Initial executive KPIs include: * Total revenue * Gross margin % * Total orders / average order value * Backlog / open sales orders * A/R aging * Revenue by month * Revenue by customer * Revenue by product/SKU or product category We have approximately **20,000–25,000 SKUs**, and partial shipments are common. We can provide existing Sage reports for revenue, customer sales, product/SKU sales, and A/R aging to use for validation. Future phases may incorporate additional operational/manufacturing KPIs and other data sources. ### Ideal Candidate We're looking for someone with: * Strong Power BI / Power Query / DAX experience * Sage 100 or MAS 90 integration experience * ODBC and data-modeling experience * Experience with manufacturing/ERP data * Experience reconciling Power BI results against ERP financial reports * Ability to build a maintainable automated reporting architecture When applying, please briefly explain: 1.
