AI-Powered NQ Futures Trading Bot – NinjaTrader 8 / NinjaScript Developer Needed

We are seeking an experienced NinjaTrader 8 / NinjaScript C# developer to design and build a custom automated trading system specifically for NQ futures. The core system will be based on a VWAP mean-reversion strategy combined with a confluence-based trade qualification framework and an AI/ML-assisted scoring and filtering layer. KEY REQUIREMENTS • VWAP mean-reversion logic tailored specifically for NQ futures behavior. • A fully configurable confluence engine incorporating market regime, momentum, volume and order flow, market structure, price action, and other relevant confirmations. • Detection and scoring of ICT/Smart Money Concepts as additional confluence, including all relevant Premium/Discount Arrays (PD Arrays), inducement, liquidity sweeps, fair value gaps, order blocks, breaker blocks, mitigation blocks, rejection blocks, liquidity voids, balanced price ranges, previous highs/lows, equal highs/lows, and structural shifts/reversals. The system should recognize when multiple PD Arrays and liquidity concepts overlap with the primary VWAP setup and use that information within the confluence and AI scoring system. • AI/ML-assisted trade scoring to evaluate and rank setups based on historical performance and probability of success. • NQ session awareness to account for behavioral differences across Asian, London/European, and New York trading sessions. TRADING MODES The system MUST include three selectable trading modes: • MANUAL MODE — The system performs all market analysis, identifies potential setups, evaluates confluences and PD Arrays, and generates the AI trade score, proposed entry, stop loss, targets, and risk/reward information. The trader makes the final decision and manually executes the trade. • SEMI-AUTOMATED MODE — The system identifies and analyzes the setup, evaluates the confluences, generates the AI score, and presents the proposed trade to the trader for approval. Once the trader approves the trade, the system can automatically execute and manage the position, including stops, targets, partial exits, runners, and trailing stops. • FULLY AUTOMATED MODE — The system continuously analyzes NQ and automatically identifies, validates, scores, executes, and manages trades that satisfy the predefined strategy, confluence, AI, risk-management, and prop-firm requirements without requiring manual approval for each trade. The trader must be able to easily switch between Manual, Semi-Automated, and Fully Automated modes. RISK AND TRADE MANAGEMENT • Comprehensive and configurable risk management including stop loss, profit targets, position sizing, risk/reward ratios, trailing stops, partial profit-taking, and runner management. • Configurable daily profit targets and/or NQ point targets with automatic trading shutdown once targets are reached. • Prop-firm compliant risk controls, including configurable rules for different futures prop firms such as consistency requirements, max drawdown, daily loss limits, contract restrictions, and other account-specific constraints. • A clean and intuitive dashboard displaying trade setups, confluence factors, AI score, risk/reward metrics, session context, current trading mode, and key account/risk statistics. • Full support for backtesting, forward testing, debugging, and ongoing system maintenance and upgrades. PAYMENT, TESTING AND ACCEPTANCE Payment must be structured through agreed project milestones based on completed and demonstrated deliverables rather than the entire project being paid upfront. After the completed system reaches the testing stage, we require approximately 30 days of forward testing under live market conditions using simulation/demo trading. The purpose is to evaluate the bot's real-world behavior and establish an initial performance sample, including win-rate percentage, profitability, drawdown, risk/reward performance, and overall system stability before final acceptance. OWNERSHIP AND LICENSING Source code ownership and licensing rights are critical. The final agreement must clearly define full rights to use, modify, and extend the completed software, including the ability to engage additional developers in the future. We also require the option, subject to agreed licensing terms, to distribute a copy of the system to another party and potentially sell or commercially license copies in the future. Any third-party dependencies, libraries, or licensing restrictions must be fully disclosed prior to development. PROJECT RELATIONSHIP We are looking to establish a long-term working relationship with the developer for ongoing improvements, debugging, enhancements, and future integration of advanced AI and trading technologies as the system evolves. This posting is a high-level overview; a more detailed specification will be shared privately with qualified candidates, including deeper strategy logic, AI requirements, testing protocols, risk frameworks, and prop-firm implementation details. Applicants should have strong experience with NinjaTrader 8, NinjaScript/C#, automated futures trading systems, and ideally experience with AI/ML integration.
