Practice Management Setup — Australian Accounting Practice

We're a growing Australian tax practice (companies, trusts, business groups) looking for a practice management expert to help set up our systems for this FY. We currently use XPM, Ignition, NowInfinity, and Xero — open to your recommendations if another stack (e.g. Karbon, FYI) would work better. What we need help with: - Job workflow design — standard job types (company/trust returns, BAS, SMSF, etc.) with checklists and stage gates - Engagement letter templates and automation - Job scheduling and capacity planning against lodgement program deadlines - WIP/time tracking integration with Xero invoicing - Migrating our current tracking (spreadsheet-based) into proper PM software - Reporting/dashboards (revenue by client, WIP aging, engagement letter status) - SOP documentation so processes aren't tribal knowledge You should have: - Hands-on implementation experience with practice management software (XPM, Karbon, FYI, Ignition, or similar) - Strong understanding of accounting firm workflows (job types, lodgement cycles, client onboarding) - Good written English and ability to work async with an Australian client Bonus: familiarity with NowInfinity or similar compliance/CDD software (software config only, not advisory)
