Principal Red Team Consultant / Adversary Simulation lead

FirstSecurity is an early stage cybersecurity startup focused on authorized offensive security, enterprise Red Team operations, adversary simulation, security research and advanced security engineering. We are looking for:- 1 .Principal Red Team Consultant / Adversary Simulation Lead to build and lead our offensive-security capability. Experience: 8–10+ years Compensation: $10,000/month Work: Remote | Long term opportunity We are looking for a highly experienced, hands-on professional NOT a theoretical cybersecurity candidate. Certifications alone are not enough. Demonstrated real-world enterprise security experience is essential. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- • Lead authorized enterprise Red Team and adversary-simulation engagements • Design assessment strategies and security testing methodologies • Assess enterprise infrastructure, identity, network, cloud and application environments • Lead complex security assessments and coordinate technical specialists • Review findings and technical reports • Perform security architecture and attack-surface assessments • Mentor other offensive-security professionals • Communicate technical findings and risk to clients • Develop internal Red Team methodologies and security capabilities • Contribute to security research and internal security tooling MUST HAVE TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE: • Enterprise Red Team Operations • Adversary Simulation / MITRE ATT&CK • Active Directory / Entra ID • Windows Enterprise / Linux • IAM, Kerberos, LDAP, DNS • Enterprise Networking, VPN, segmentation • AWS / Azure / GCP security • Web & API security / OWASP • Cloud, Kubernetes and container security • Threat Modeling & Security Architecture • Python, PowerShell and Bash • Strong technical reporting and client communication ADVANCED / PREFERRED: • Enterprise security consulting • Security research • Adversary-emulation experience • Cloud security research • Security-tool development • Open-source security contributions • Technical publications or conference presentations • Experience leading and mentoring security teams IMPORTANT: We are NOT looking for candidates whose experience is mainly courses, certifications, basic vulnerability scanning, or CTFs without professional experience. We want someone who can demonstrate strong practical problem solving ability and discuss previous authorized security engagements without revealing confidential client information. OSCP, OSEP, CRTO, CISSP or equivalent certifications are welcome, but practical capability matters more than certifications.
