Print-Ready Book Template Design

I am publishing a 42-case clinical training workbook for Amazon KDP (8.5 x 11 paperback, roughly 100 pages, full color). Every case in the book uses the exact same two-page layout: a case page and a debrief page. I need one designer to build those two master pages as a clean, editable, print-ready template. I will assemble the remaining 41 cases myself using the template, so the quality and structure of what you deliver matters more than volume. The layout is already fully designed. I have finished reference pages for both the front and back page, plus a written specification. You are not designing from scratch. You are rebuilding my approved design as a properly constructed, production-grade template. What I will provide 1. High-resolution reference images of the approved front page and debrief page 2. A written specification (trim, bleed, margins, type sizes, color values, zone order) 3. Brand colors and fonts 4. Sample content and sample assets (patient photo, ECG strip, monitor screenshot, QR code) Deliverables 1. Two master pages built as an editable template (case page and debrief page) 2. All text set as styled, editable text (not images), using paragraph and character styles so global changes are possible 3. Image frames for the four per-case assets: patient photo, DART Sim monitor screenshot, ECG rhythm strip, QR code. Frames should be set so I can drop in a new image and have it fit correctly without resizing manually 4. Structural elements (header bars, zone boxes, footer) locked or on a master layer so they cannot be nudged during assembly 5. Correct document setup: 8.5 x 11 inches, 0.125 inch bleed on all sides, 0.75 inch outside and top margins, 0.875 inch gutter, no live content within 0.5 inch of trim 6. A configured export preset that produces a KDP-compliant print PDF (CMYK, PDF/X, crop marks and bleed) 7. One sample case fully populated with the content and assets I provide, exported as a test PDF, to prove the template works end to end 8. A short handoff note or 5 to 10 minute screen recording showing me how to duplicate the template for a new case and swap the four assets Tool Preferred: Canva (Pro). I will be assembling the other 41 cases myself, often on an iPad, so ease of use matters. If you believe Adobe InDesign is meaningfully better for this and are willing to deliver a template I can work in, propose it and explain why in your application. Requirements 1. Prior experience building print-ready book interiors, ideally for Amazon KDP 2. Comfortable with CMYK, bleed, margins, and PDF/X export 3. Attention to detail: this is a technical medical book with small type, data tables, ECG grids, and QR codes. Precision matters more than creativity here 4. Willingness to follow an existing approved design exactly rather than redesign it Nice to have 1. Experience with educational workbooks, textbooks, or training materials 2.
