Summary

I need an experienced Python/backend developer to build a product data enrichment middleware/API for a garden retail platform. We currently have approximately 700 products and can provide STK codes, product names and EAN/barcodes for almost all products. The system needs to use these identifiers to source missing product images, descriptions, brands and specifications from reliable online/manufacturer/product data sources, store the results, and expose them through a secure REST API for another system to retrieve. It should also support confidence matching, batch processing and flag uncertain products for manual review.
