Product Designer for Ongoing App UX/UI Projects

We are a remote design agency working with SaaS and deep tech startups. We are looking for a product designer to support app design work on a project-by-project basis. Each engagement is scoped with clear deliverables and a deadline, and designers who deliver well move into a steady stream of repeat projects with us. This is app and product interface design. We are not looking for marketing website design. Typical projects - End to end UX flows and journey maps for a new app or feature set - Mobile app UI design across iOS and Android - In-product SaaS interfaces, including dashboards, onboarding, and settings - Extending an existing design system with new components and states - Interactive prototypes for user testing or demos Some projects run a few days. Others run several weeks. How we work - You work directly with our creative director. Project management and client communication sit outside this role - We build on established design systems and component libraries, including Tailwind based systems, rather than starting from scratch - AI tools are part of our normal workflow, from ideation through prototyping - Fully remote and async friendly, with a check-in call each project cycle What we are looking for - A portfolio with app or product interface work, not primarily marketing sites - Strong Figma skills, including components, variants, and auto layout - Practical use of AI tools in your design process - The ability to explain and defend design decisions - Reliable delivery against agreed dates across time zones - Individual support, NOT a B2B in which you also have an agency.
