Product Marketing Writer for AI FashionTech Startup (Release Notes, Newsletters, LinkedIn)
Worldwide
Description: We're Brarista, a UK AI startup. We build a bra fit recommendation tool that lingerie retailers add to their online shops. Our product ships updates constantly and we need someone to tell our clients about them. What you'll do Review what's shipped each fortnight and decide what's worth announcing Write client release emails, explaining new features in plain language and why they matter to a retailer Write short LinkedIn posts and a monthly client newsletter Write brief in-app announcement copy Write the copy that goes around our product demo videos: post captions, email intros, video titles and descriptions. We record the videos, you make people want to watch them Build and send emails through our email platform (Loops, similar to Mailchimp) What makes this different You won't be waiting on developers to explain things. We'll give you access to Claude Code and our project tracker so you can research what shipped and how it works yourself. If you enjoy digging into something technical and working out how to explain it simply, you'll like this role. We're looking for Excellent written English, clear and natural, no jargon 2 or more years writing marketing content for software or tech businesses Comfortable with AI tools and happy to learn new ones Experience with any email marketing platform Able to work independently and ask good questions when something isn't clear Nice to have Fashion, lingerie or ecommerce experience Familiarity with Shopify Hours and rate 10 to 15 hours per week to start, ongoing. Flexible on timezone. $10 to $12 per hour depending on experience. To apply Please skip the cover letter template. Instead, answer these two questions in a few sentences each: Tell us about a time you had to explain something technical to a non-technical audience. What did you do to make it land? Look at our site (brarista.co.uk). Who do you think our customer is, and what would they care about most? Please also attach two writing samples, ideally something explaining a product or feature. Shortlisted applicants will get a short paid test task: we'll send you a real product update and ask for a client email and a LinkedIn post.
