# Product Upload Specialist — American Fireplace Supply American Fireplace Supply is hiring a **Product Upload Specialist** to research, build, and maintain accurate product listings for our online store. **Hours:** Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM Eastern Time **Daily Target:** 3 completed products per day ## Non-Negotiable Requirements * Must be actively working **9:00 AM–1:00 PM EST, Monday–Friday**. * Must **check in via chat at 9:00 AM EST** each working day. * Must remain online, available, and responsive on chat throughout the shift. * Must have a reliable computer and stable high-speed internet connection. * Must have an active **ChatGPT Plus subscription** and be comfortable using ChatGPT as part of the daily workflow. * Must be able to follow our Product Creation SOP exactly. * Must be detail-oriented and comfortable working with technical products. * Must communicate immediately if there is a problem, delay, or conflicting product information. **This is not a flexible-hours position.** You must be available and responsive during the full 9:00 AM–1:00 PM EST shift. ## Daily Responsibilities You will be responsible for completing **3 product uploads per day**. For each assigned product: * Find the manufacturer's official product page. * Locate all available manuals, specification sheets, brochures, technical drawings, and other relevant manufacturer documentation. * Email the documentation to management so we can create the product description and copy. * Find and download all appropriate manufacturer product images. * Upload and organize product images correctly. * Enter specifications, dimensions, technical information, SKUs, variants, sizes, options, and other required product data. * Upload manuals, spec sheets, and technical documents where required. * Follow our SOP for naming, formatting, punctuation, product structure, and data entry. * Review the entire listing before submitting it for approval. * Send completed products to management for final review. ## Accuracy Standards **Never guess product information.** Product specifications must be verified using official manufacturer documentation whenever possible. If information is missing, unclear, or conflicting, stop and ask before entering it. Accuracy is more important than filling in a field just to complete the product. A product is only considered complete when **all required images, variants, specifications, documentation, options, and fields are properly entered according to our SOP.** ## Communication & Accountability You are expected to manage your assigned products independently. We should not need to repeatedly follow up for updates, documentation, or completed work. If you are stuck on something for more than a reasonable amount of time, communicate the issue rather than remaining silent. At the end of each shift, provide a brief update confirming: * Products completed * Products still in progress * Any missing information or issues requiring review ## Confidentiality All company SOPs, pricing information, supplier information, product data, internal processes, files, logins, and other company information are confidential and may not be shared outside of American Fireplace Supply. All work completed for American Fireplace Supply remains company property. ## What Success Looks Like **3 accurate, complete products per day.** **Online and responsive from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM EST.** **Follow the SOP exactly.** **Research independently.** **Never guess. Ask when something is unclear.** **Communicate problems early, not after the deadline.**
