3D Product Visualiser — paper tableware CGI for a D2C brand launch (~120 frames)

Summary

We're Celestaire, a celebration and tableware brand launching a Shopify storefront. We need one CGI artist to produce our entire product image library in 3D — roughly 120 frames — from print-ready artwork files. No photography involved. What you'd be making ~98 product frames: printed paper plates, platters, cups and napkins on a bone-coloured seamless ground. Hero shots, angled stacks, macro material details, pack shots. ~14 styled tablescape frames: full tables set with our product, in daylight and one candlelit evening set. 4 overhead "everything in the box" set layouts. We'll send you a detailed shot-by-shot brief (14 sections — lighting rig, material specs, per-frame camera angles, delivery naming) and courier you physical printed samples of every design to build materials against. What this job actually turns on Three things decide whether this works, and they're all material, not composition: Uncoated paper board that reads matte and soft, never glossy or ceramic — including the pale unprinted cut edge at the rim. Champagne gold foil stamping (#BFA063) that catches light as a soft broad sheen. Not yellow gold, not rose gold, not printed gold. Print artwork mapped at true scale and position from supplied AI/PDF files, matching the physical sample exactly. No re-tracing, no scaling to fit. Plus one discipline: a single lighting rig, saved once and reused unchanged across all 120 frames. Consistency across the set matters more to us than any individual frame being beautiful. You're probably right for this if Your portfolio includes paper, card or packaging — cartons, labels, FMCG packs, stationery. You've mapped print artwork with dielines onto 3D geometry before. You're comfortable colour-matching a render to a physical sample under a daylight bulb, and you know what sRGB and view transforms are. You can work in batches to a review cycle rather than delivering everything at the end. Probably not a fit if Your reel is mostly glossy hero objects — phones, cosmetics, cars, glass, metal. Your work leans heavily on post-processing, grading and compositing to get its look. You're primarily an AI image generator. We need controllable, repeatable, artwork-accurate renders across a catalogue. Software: your choice. Blender, KeyShot, C4D + Redshift, Maya + Arnold all fine. We take the source files at the end. How we'll start: a paid pilot — one plate, three frames (hero, stack, foil macro) against the brief. If the materials are right, we move straight into the full batch on a weekly schedule. The pilot is paid at your normal rate whether or not we continue. Timeline: pilot mid-August, first full Story batch late August, remaining batches through mid-September.
