3D Product Visualization + Reusable 3D Asset Library for Webshop — Crane Camera Systems
Worldwide
We sell camera systems for cranes and heavy machinery and are building a new online store. Our current product photos vary in quality and style, so we want to switch to 3D product visualization and reuse the 3D assets as our catalog grows. We would start with one paid pilot product to agree on the visual style, meaning materials, lighting and camera angles, and then continue with the rest of the range using the same freelancer. Our products are complete systems. Each package includes a camera, a display, a mounting system, cables and brackets, plus optional add-ons. All parts of a package must be shown together, not just a single unit. First contract, the pilot: one full product system. Deliverables are a main hero image, a three-quarter angle image, a layout image showing all components, individual product images, files prepared for web use, and the editable project files. Next stage: the rest of the catalog, roughly a dozen packages plus variations, reusing the assets from the pilot. Optional later stages: products shown on different crane types for store background images, assets for a visual product configurator, and short animations. Image quality: high resolution output suitable for both the online store and printed brochures. Exact sizes and formats agreed after we start. What we provide: CAD files of individual parts rather than full assemblies, some existing 3D parts, product photos, brochures, and a full product list. You would rebuild the missing parts from these references. The products are hard surface industrial items and suit this kind of work. Who we are looking for: an expert with a strong portfolio of photorealistic product or industrial visualization for e-commerce, experience rebuilding models from partial CAD and photos, and the ability to keep lighting and materials consistent across a whole product range. Comfortable with tools such as Blender, Rhino, KeyShot, V-Ray or Corona, plus Photoshop. In your proposal please include: a few portfolio samples, a short note on how you would approach the pilot, your fixed price for the pilot product, a rough price range for the full catalog, the software you use, and your current availability. Screening questions: Share a few examples of photorealistic product or industrial visualization you have created for online stores. Have you rebuilt 3D products from partial CAD parts and photos rather than a finished assembly? Describe one example. What is your fixed price for the pilot product, and your rough estimate for the full catalog?
