About Mudflap Mudflap helps owner-operators and small trucking fleets save on the costs that eat into their margins most, starting with fuel and expanding into a broader group purchasing platform. It's a small, fast-moving team building for an industry that doesn't always get design attention — and that's part of the appeal. About the Role The in-house creative team is small on purpose, covering everything from lifecycle emails to trade show booths to product launches. This role exists to take the production layer off the team's plate — building out and executing designs from an established system quickly and cleanly. It's a strong fit for someone who wants broad reps across email, landing pages, and print/merch inside a real brand system, with room to grow into more ownership over time. What You'll Own - Lifecycle — execute email and landing page designs for promotions, tests, and always-on sends, then build them out directly in Braze - Product Marketing — design and produce everything from product launch emails and landing pages to trade show collateral and merch - Template & system organization — keep Figma component libraries and brand templates current so the rest of the team can move fast - Batch & one-off requests — handle the steady stream of smaller asks (a resized asset, a one-off graphic, a quick edit) that come through design intake in Asana What Success Looks Like - Requests move through the queue without becoming a bottleneck for Product Marketing or Lifecycle campaigns - Brand consistency holds up across every format and channel as volume increases What You Bring - 2–5 years of design experience (agency, in-house, or freelance) — or a portfolio strong enough to make the case on its own - Strong Figma skills, including comfort working inside existing component libraries and systems, not just from a blank canvas - Web experience — Webflow, Framer, or similar; building landing pages is a big slice of this job - Experience designing customer communications (lifecycle/CRM emails), ideally with hands-on ESP build experience - Fast, clean execution — shipping several solid variations on time beats agonizing over one - Comfort taking a brief and running with it, and the judgment to flag ambiguity instead of guessing - Organizational chops to juggle several small requests in flight without dropping one - Meticulous and detail-oriented — accurate, good-looking assets at scale - An eye for copy — a good sense for how type and message work together goes a long way in lifecycle and lifecycle-adjacent work Tools You'll Use Figma · Braze · Webflow · Framer · Asana · Google Drive · Slack · Notion The Fine Print Location: Remote Type: Full-time, 40 hrs/week Compensation: $40–$65/hr
