Project Manager for Software Development

Job Title: Project Manager Position Overview We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to oversee multiple software development projects and ensure they are delivered on time. This role will serve as the primary point of communication between the development team and the CEO, providing clear updates on project progress, timelines, risks, and priorities. The ideal candidate has experience managing software development projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, removing blockers, and ensuring everyone is aligned on priorities and deadlines. Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Execution ● Manage multiple software development projects simultaneously. ● Create and maintain project plans, timelines, and milestones. ● Prioritize projects, features, bug fixes, and technical improvements based on business needs. ● Monitor project progress and ensure deadlines are met. ● Identify risks early and develop mitigation plans. Communication & Stakeholder Management ● Serve as the primary communication bridge between the CEO and the development team. ● Provide regular updates on project status, timelines, blockers, and expected completion dates. ● Translate business priorities into actionable development tasks. ● Escalate issues that may impact delivery schedules. Team Coordination ● Coordinate work across developers, QA, designers, SEO specialists, and other stakeholders. ● Ensure everyone understands project priorities and responsibilities. ● Schedule and facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, project meetings, and retrospectives. ● Follow up on action items and ensure accountability. Timeline & Resource Management ● Track project schedules and ensure deliverables remain on track. ● Balance workloads across team members. ● Adjust timelines when priorities change and communicate impacts clearly. ● Maintain visibility into all ongoing and upcoming projects. Quality & Delivery ● Work closely with QA to ensure projects meet quality standards before deployment. ● Verify that project requirements are complete before development begins. ● Coordinate releases and deployment schedules. Process Improvement ● Improve project management processes and team workflows. ● Help establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) for project delivery. ● Recommend tools and practices that improve productivity and transparency. Required Qualifications ● 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Technical Project Manager, or Scrum Master. ● Experience managing software development projects. ● Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies. ● Excellent communication and organizational skills. ● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. ● Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. ● Experience using project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Asana, Trello, or Monday.com. ● Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications ● Background in software development or computer science. ● Experience working with remote development teams. ● Familiarity with web application development. ● Experience with SEO or digital marketing projects is a plus. ● Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
