Project Manager for Trading Web Application development

We are building a day trading platform with a lot of convenience features and advanced information available for the users. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the team for 30-40 hours/week. The product is complex, so we need someone who's willing to thoroughly understand product functionality and be responsible for the development of this product, not just for the tasks tracking and timeline control. The team includes 3 developers, 1 tech lead, and 1 QA. The project is expected to run for approximately 3-4 months, including release preparation and stabilization. Responsibilities: Thoroughly learn the expected product functionality, requirements and client expectations Assign tasks, control their execution and timeline, remove blockers Control scope. Be sure you understand what we are building and why. Do not allow scope creep, while implementing client suggestions, whenever its feasible Communicate with the client and clarify requirements Set up the delivery process (ceremonies, artifacts) Keep Asana up to date Do some user acceptance testing to verify everything works as it should. You're not going to do the QA work, but you should be able to verify their conclusions Mandatory qualifications: 5+ years of PM experience Experience managing medium or large projects with multiple developers Effective communicator - you should be able to understand vague change requests and politely push back on them, if they jeopardize project success Experience managing web development projects Dedicated availability for 30-40 hours/week during the project Nice to have: Experience with trading, fintech, broker integrations, crypto, stocks, futures, or market data platforms
