AI Prompt Engineer for Brand Consistency

About the Role We are looking for an experienced AI Prompt Engineer with a strong graphic design and branding background to help our team integrate generative AI into our creative workflow. This is not simply an image-generation role. We need someone who understands brand consistency, visual systems, graphic design, and AI prompting and can develop repeatable workflows that allow us to create high-quality, on-brand visual assets efficiently. You will work closely with our team to translate creative direction and existing brand standards into effective AI prompts, workflows, and production systems. What You'll Do * Develop sophisticated prompts for AI image generation, editing, variation, and creative exploration. * Create reusable prompt frameworks and templates that consistently produce on-brand results. * Translate our existing brand identity and visual guidelines into practical AI prompting standards. * Maintain consistency across colors, composition, imagery, lighting, illustration style, typography, mood, and overall visual language. * Generate and refine concepts, graphics, illustrations, backgrounds, imagery, and other visual assets. * Adapt AI-generated assets for different campaigns, platforms, and formats while maintaining brand integrity. * Work with existing designs and reference images to develop consistent visual directions. * Evaluate AI outputs critically and refine prompts and workflows to improve quality and consistency. * Identify and solve common AI-generation issues, including inconsistent visual styles, inaccurate details, poor composition, distorted elements, and other quality problems. * Help determine when AI is the right solution versus when traditional design or manual editing is more appropriate. * Build and maintain a library of effective prompts, workflows, references, and creative standards. * Document successful processes so they can be repeated and used by other members of our team. * Stay current with emerging AI creative tools and recommend technologies or workflows that could improve our design process. Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who combines strong AI expertise with a professional eye for design and branding. You should have: * Proven experience with AI prompt engineering, particularly for visual and image generation. * Strong graphic design and visual communication skills. * A solid understanding of branding and visual identity systems. * An excellent eye for composition, color, typography, hierarchy, balance, and aesthetics. * Experience maintaining visual consistency across multiple assets. * Experience creating reusable AI workflows rather than one-off prompts. * Strong attention to detail and quality control. * The ability to take creative direction and turn it into precise, effective AI instructions. * Strong communication and documentation skills. * The ability to work collaboratively with designers and creative leadership. Preferred Tools and Experience Experience with the following is highly desirable: * Midjourney * ChatGPT and OpenAI * Adobe Photoshop * Adobe Illustrator * Adobe Firefly * Stable Diffusion or similar platforms * AI image editing and image-to-image workflows * Reference-image and style-consistency workflows * Professional branding, marketing, agency, or creative production environments You do not need to use every tool listed above. We are more interested in your ability to understand the underlying creative and AI workflows and select the right tool for the job. What We Expect We are looking for someone who can go beyond simply creating a prompt that generates a good image. We need someone who can develop a repeatable system: Brand guidelines → creative direction → prompt strategy → generation → refinement → quality control → final asset You should be able to explain why a prompt or workflow works, identify why an output is inconsistent, and systematically improve the result. Engagement We are initially looking for a specialist who can work closely with our team on an ongoing basis. The engagement may begin with specific projects and workflow development and expand into a longer-term relationship based on performance and fit. We are looking for an AI creative specialist who understands both the technology and the design discipline behind it, not simply someone who knows how to generate images.
