Proofreader and Copy Editor for a Confidential Business Presentation (Human Work Only, No AI Use)

Looking to start in the next one to two days. Ongoing work potential I am looking for an experienced proofreader and copy editor to go through a presentation of roughly 40 slides, line by line, along with a few supporting documents. The content is financial and operational and it is written for a professional audience, so I want someone who has edited this kind of material before. This is manual work. I am not looking for a fast pass with software. What the job involves: -A careful read of every slide for grammar and clarity. -Checking that figures, dates, names and defined terms stay consistent from one slide to the next. If a number appears on slide 5 and again on slide 36, it needs to match. -Comparing numbers in deck against backup financial files -Flagging sentences that are vague, overwritten, generic, or AI sounding. Or that repeat a point already made elsewhere in the document. Plain, direct sentences. Institutional business quality writing USA English. Requirements You do the work yourself, by hand. No AI tools of any kind, and no browser extensions or online editors that send text to a third party. I will ask you to confirm this in writing before we start. Prior editing experience for an institutional or professional audience. Investment banking, private equity, law, management consulting, corporate communications or financial publishing are all relevant backgrounds. Comfortable working directly in PowerPoint and excel. Confidentiality The material is confidential. I will ask you to sign an NDA before I send anything over.
