Summary

## Psychologist and Professional Webinar Presenter — Adult Mental Health We are seeking experienced psychologists to develop and present professional webinars for psychologists, counsellors, mental health clinicians, allied health practitioners, and other professionals working with adults. We are particularly interested in psychologists with specialist expertise in one or more of the following areas: * Impulsivity and behavioural self-regulation * Adult ADHD, autism, and neurodivergence * Gambling disorder and gambling-related harm * Alcohol use disorder and problematic drinking * Substance use and behavioural addictions * Emotional dysregulation and risk-taking behaviour * Intimate partner violence, coercive control, and family violence * Perpetrator intervention, victim-survivor safety, or clinical risk assessment * Comorbidity involving addiction, trauma, neurodivergence, and mental health conditions Applicants are not expected to be experts across every area. We welcome psychologists with substantial, clearly defined expertise in one or more of these fields. ### About the Role The successful applicant will develop and/or deliver clinically rigorous webinars for an experienced professional audience. This role requires more than knowledge of the subject. We are looking for presenters who can translate research, clinical complexity, and real-world practice into education that is engaging, nuanced, and immediately useful. Applicants may apply as: * A webinar presenter * A webinar content developer * Both a developer and presenter Preference will be given to psychologists who can confidently develop and deliver their own material. ### Key Responsibilities Depending on the project, responsibilities may include: * Developing 60–90-minute professional webinars * Establishing clear, measurable learning outcomes * Reviewing current research, clinical guidelines, and relevant legislation * Translating complex psychological concepts into practical clinical guidance * Creating polished slides, case formulations, handouts, and learning activities * Presenting live and/or recorded webinars with confidence and authority * Facilitating professional discussions and question-and-answer sessions * Using de-identified case examples to connect theory with clinical practice * Addressing ethical, cultural, diagnostic, and risk-management considerations * Collaborating with our team on webinar structure, positioning, and quality * Responding constructively to clinical and editorial feedback * Delivering all materials within agreed deadlines ### Essential Criteria Applicants must demonstrate: * Postgraduate qualifications in psychology * Current registration or professional licensure as a psychologist in their country of practice * Substantial experience working clinically with adults * Specialist expertise in at least one of the identified subject areas * Previous experience presenting to psychologists, mental health professionals, or other clinical audiences * Strong knowledge of current research and evidence-informed practice * The ability to communicate complex and contested clinical material responsibly * Excellent spoken and written English * A reliable, collaborative, and professional working style ### Strongly Preferred We are particularly interested in psychologists who have: * Delivered CPD webinars or professional-development training * Presented at conferences, universities, clinical workshops, or professional organisations * Experience teaching postgraduate psychology or supervising clinicians * Worked in private practice, hospitals, rehabilitation services, addiction programs, forensic settings, or specialist family-violence services * Experience presenting online and facilitating live professional discussions * Knowledge of adult learning and instructional design * Experience creating polished PowerPoint or equivalent presentations * Published research, books, clinical resources, or professional articles * A confident and engaging presentation style suitable for an experienced clinical audience ### Additional Requirements for Intimate Partner Violence Topics Applicants proposing webinars about intimate partner violence must have specific professional experience in family or domestic violence practice. Relevant expertise may include: * Coercive control * Victim-survivor safety and trauma-informed practice * Perpetrator assessment or intervention * Family-violence risk assessment * Safety planning * Working with children exposed to family violence * Relevant legal, ethical, and mandatory-reporting responsibilities Intimate partner violence content must prioritise safety, accountability, and evidence-informed risk assessment. It should not reduce abusive behaviour to anger, addiction, impulsivity, relationship conflict, or emotional dysregulation. ### Quality Expectations Our participants are qualified professionals. We are not seeking introductory lectures, generic self-help content, or presentations that simply summarise diagnostic criteria. Strong webinars should: * Address a clearly defined clinical problem * Be grounded in current and credible evidence * Offer clinical nuance and acknowledge limitations in the research * Include realistic, de-identified case material * Explore differential formulation and comorbidity * Address ethical and risk-management considerations * Distinguish association from causation * Avoid stigmatising addiction or neurodivergence * Provide practical frameworks that participants can use in their work * Maintain engagement throughout the presentation ### Project Arrangements This is a remote, project-based opportunity with the potential for ongoing collaboration. Webinars will generally run for 60–90 minutes and may include a live discussion or question-and-answer component. Some webinars may be recorded and offered as self-paced professional education. Scope, fees, deadlines, attribution, recording permissions, and intellectual-property arrangements will be agreed upon before each project begins. Shortlisted applicants may initially be invited to complete a paid pilot webinar. ### How to Apply Please include: 1. Your current professional role and country of practice 2. Your psychology qualifications and current registration 3. Your principal areas of clinical expertise 4. The populations and settings in which you have worked 5. Details of presentations delivered to psychologists or mental health professionals 6. Links to previous webinars, lectures, conference presentations, or training recordings 7. A sample slide deck or professional learning resource, if available 8. One to three webinar topics you would be qualified to develop and present 9. A brief explanation of your professional experience in each proposed topic 10. Whether you are applying as a presenter, developer, or both 11. Your proposed fee and availability over the next three months Please also answer the following: * Who were the professional audiences for your previous presentations? * Approximately how many professional webinars, lectures, or workshops have you delivered? * What is your strongest specialist topic? * What would make your proposed webinar valuable to an experienced clinician? Generic applications that do not demonstrate relevant psychological expertise and professional presentation experience may not be considered.
