Public Relations Advisor/Partner

We are not hiring a consultant. We are looking for an operator — someone who has spent years inside the mechanics of earned media, narrative development, and media relationships, and who is now at a point in their career where building something matters more than billing hours. NorthScale Group works with founder-led businesses and growth-stage firms on commercial infrastructure, narrative positioning, and enterprise value development. We are extending our PR division and looking for a senior partner who wants to co-build it — not manage a retainer portfolio, but help define how we work, who we work with, and what we stand for in the market. What this looks like in practice: You bring existing media relationships and a clear point of view on how narrative is built for ambitious firms. You work alongside our team on client engagements, contribute to positioning strategy, and take ownership of delivery. You are comfortable being the person in the room who has seen this done before. What we are not looking for: Someone who wants to consult from the outside. Someone looking for a side arrangement. Someone who needs to be managed. If your goal is to bill hours and move on, this is not the right conversation. What we are looking for: An operator who has built media presence for businesses that deserved it — and a few that didn't. Someone who understands that the best PR work happens before the client thinks they need it.
