Python Developer Needed for Low-Latency AI Momentum Trading Platform

We are looking for a highly skilled Python developer to build a production-ready momentum trading platform capable of analyzing live market activity and executing trades in real time through brokerage and market data APIs. The application should continuously process streaming market information, including trades, quotes, order flow, liquidity, volume, and Level II order book updates, to detect strong momentum opportunities based on configurable mathematical strategies. Once predefined criteria are met, the platform should generate trading signals and optionally execute orders. The system should support multiple operating modes, including: * Historical strategy backtesting * Live market monitoring without execution * Paper trading for strategy validation * Live trading with manual enable/disable controls * Real-time WebSocket market data streaming * Integration with brokerage and market data APIs * Momentum calculations from milliseconds to several minutes * Price speed, acceleration, and trend strength analysis * Trade frequency and abnormal volume detection * Buy vs. sell pressure evaluation and order book imbalance * Liquidity analysis, spread monitoring, and slippage estimation * Position sizing, order execution, and risk management * Automatic reconnection, logging, health monitoring, and error recovery * Web dashboard or administrative control panel The initial release should rely on configurable rule-based algorithms rather than machine learning models. The architecture should remain broker-agnostic, allowing integrations with providers such as Alpaca, Interactive Brokers, Polygon.io, Tradier, or similar services. Experience with low-latency systems and production deployments is highly preferred.
