Python Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Python Engineer. The Python Engineer will design, implement, and maintain back-end services and APIs using Python, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, integrating with databases, and optimizing data access. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, testable code, performing code reviews, troubleshooting issues in production and staging environments, and improving existing systems. The Python Engineer will also contribute to technical documentation, follow best practices in software development, and participate in continuous improvement of development workflows and tools. 6 Months Contract with possibility of extension. Qualifications Strong Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills, with a focus on Python. Experience in Back-End Web Development, including building and maintaining APIs and services. Solid understanding of Databases, including schema design, queries, and performance optimization. Proven Software Development experience, including testing, debugging, and version control (e.g., Git). Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Familiarity with common Python frameworks (such as Pandas or Flask) and RESTful architectures is beneficial. Comfort working in remote, distributed teams, with strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience with containerization, cloud platforms, or CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
