Summary

A self-contained Ram Air Turbine (RAT) Power Pod uses relative airflow during flight to generate electrical energy, topping off an internal battery buffer to continuously power small aircraft electronics without tapping into the aircraft’s main electrical bus. We are seeking an experienced electrical engineer who have done similar work in aerospace. Responsibilities include analyzing airflow dynamics, designing the turbine structure, and ensuring efficient energy conversion. The ideal candidate will have some experience in aerospace engineering and a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
