RFP: Topographic & Sand Dune Migration Study for a 200-Acre Agricultural Site (Feasibility/Go-No-Go)

Dear Sir,MADAM I would like to request a technical and financial proposal for conducting a comprehensive topographic and sand dune migration study for a proposed 200-acre agricultural project. The primary and sole objective of this study is a feasibility assessment. I am currently evaluating whether this specific land is suitable for a long-term agricultural project, or if it should be completely abandoned and replaced due to sand encroachment risks. Please note that I am not looking for engineering solutions, windbreaks, or sand fixation measures to stop dune migration. If the site is highly threatened by sand encroachment, the conclusion should simply state that the land is unsuitable. I do not wish to waste time or capital on mitigating active sand movement. The required scope of work should include: 1. Historical Contour Mapping: Generation of contour maps based on satellite Digital Elevation Models (DEMs) for the designated site. 2. Dune Migration Analysis: Multi-temporal satellite analysis to track the movement, speed, and patterns of sand dunes over the last 10 years. 3. Definitive Threat and Risk Assessment: A clear, conclusive evaluation stating whether the proposed farm is actively threatened by sand dune encroachment or not. 4. Final Decision Report: A concise technical report with definitive findings and a clear recommendation on whether to proceed with this site or look for an alternative location.
