React Native Developer — Consumer Subscription Apps (Part-Time, ~40–50 hrs/month)

About Us We're a Tokyo-based consumer app studio shipping mobile subscription apps at high velocity. We run a portfolio model: launch fast, measure retention, double down on winners. Small senior team, no bureaucracy, direct communication. The Role We need a part-time developer (~40–50 hours/month, flexible scheduling) to help us ship faster across multiple apps. You'll work directly with our engineers and founder — building new app features, standing up new apps from our shared template, fixing bugs, and getting builds through App Store review. This is ongoing work, not a one-off project. If it goes well, hours can grow. Our Stack React Native + Expo (EAS), TypeScript Supabase — Postgres, Auth, Edge Functions, Storage RevenueCat + Superwall — subscriptions and paywall experimentation App Store / Google Play submission and release management What You'll Do Build screens and features from detailed Figma designs and product specs Spin up new apps from our existing codebase patterns Integrate and debug RevenueCat/Superwall paywall flows Ship builds via EAS, handle app review feedback Squash bugs and improve performance across the portfolio You're a Fit If 3+ years React Native experience with shipped App Store apps (send links) You've worked with Supabase or comparable Postgres/BaaS backends You've integrated in-app purchases/subscriptions before — RevenueCat experience is a strong plus You work well async, communicate proactively, and don't need hand-holding You move fast and ship — we'd rather have a working v1 tomorrow than a perfect one next month Nice to Have Superwall experience Web-to-app funnel experience AI/LLM API integration (chat features, scoring flows) Logistics ~40–50 hrs/month to start, hourly Fully remote, async-first; some overlap with JST (UTC+9) preferred but not required Long-term engagement for the right person To Apply Links to 2–3 shipped React Native apps you personally worked on (App Store links, note what you built) Your experience with RevenueCat or other IAP tooling — one paragraph Your hourly rate and monthly availability Applications without app links will not be considered.
