React Native + Node.js Fullstack Developer for Mobile App Redesign (4-Week Contract, Extendable)

We are redesigning our consumer mobile app from the ground up and need a senior fullstack contractor to own features end to end. The contract starts at 4 weeks, and strong performers get extended week to week. This is a rebuild, not a facelift: a new React Native (Expo) application plus a rebuilt Node.js and Express API layer on top of our PostgreSQL system of record. WHAT YOU WILL BUILD Full project scope below. Your first 4 weeks cover the first slice, scoped together at kickoff. Redesigned React Native app screens for iOS and Android (Expo, Expo Router, Tailwind CSS, Lottie) Our unified design token system in the app, so mobile and web share one visual source of truth Rebuilt REST API services in Node.js and Express against our PostgreSQL system of record, with WebSockets where flows need real-time state Payment, rewards, and deep link surfaces integrating Stripe, Voucherify, and Branch Event instrumentation through Twilio Segment so every release is measurable HOW THE ENGAGEMENT RUNS 4 weeks to start. Extension decided week to week at the Friday demo: strong work gets extended [CONFIRM: 30 to 40] hours per week, hourly contract via Upwork Weekly shipped increment plus a demo every Friday, starting week 1 Code in our repo from day 1, PRs reviewed, clean handoff docs at the end NDA and IP assignment signed before day 1 so you have repo access immediately.
