React Native + Supabase Developer — Milestone 1 (App Foundations)

I'm building a premium, invite-only mobile app connecting a closed network of verified professional members. Think of it as a private matchmaking/networking platform: members post requests, other members respond if they can help, and successful matches build a reputation score over time. Full product spec (with UI mockups) shared once we start working together. I'm hiring developer(s) milestone by milestone — starting small to establish trust before the full project (6 milestones planned total, this being the first). Milestone 1 scope: • Set up project structure (React Native + Expo, Supabase backend) • Design and implement the core database schema (users, verified profiles, requests/listings, conversations, deals — full spec shared once we begin) • Basic Row Level Security (RLS) rules on Supabase — this app will handle sensitive professional data, so security matters from day one • Working authentication flow, including an invite-only signup gate (users can't access the app until manually approved) • Deliverable: a user can request access via invite code, sign up, log in, and their record correctly appears in the database with proper access rules Requirements: • Solid expérience with React Native (Expo) and Supabase specifically • Comfortable using AI coding tools (Claude Code) as part of your workflow • Able to briefly explain, in your own words, how you'd approach basic security/permissions on a multi-user app handling sensitive data (mention this in your application) • Available for a short weekly check-in call Budget: Fixed price, $150–300 (open to discussion — please quote in hours × your rate) Timeline: 1–2 weeks Next steps: If this goes well, 5 more milestones follow (feed/profiles, real-time messaging, a reputation & verification system, invite-only access & admin panel, push notifications & polish).
