React / Next.js Front End Developer — Remote

We're building the new web version of our product and are looking for an experienced front end developer to lead and support the rollout. You'll work primarily in React and Next.js, building the interfaces our customers use every day. The frontend integrates with a SQL Server database via a C# API — you won't be modifying the API or database directly, but you'll need to understand relational data and work comfortably against existing APIs. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Build and maintain UI features in React / Next.js - Consume and integrate with an existing C# REST API - Translate designs and requirements into performant, accessible, responsive interfaces - Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code review - Collaborate with the wider team (and any backend/API developers) to flag issues, edge cases, or data needs WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - 3-5+ years of professional front end development experience - Strong hands-on experience with React and Next.js (App Router / SSR / routing / data fetching patterns) - Solid JavaScript fundamentals; TypeScript experience strongly preferred - Strong HTML5 and modern CSS skills - Comfortable working with relational databases conceptually (you won't write SQL day-to-day, but should understand schemas, joins, and how data is structured) - Experience consuming REST APIs built by another team (ideally including .NET/C# APIs, but not essential) - Good communication skills — able to work async/remote and flag blockers early NICE TO HAVE - Experience with a component library / design system - Automated testing experience (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright/Cypress) - Familiarity with CI/CD and Git-based workflows - Experience in construction, CRM, or B2B SaaS products LOGISTICS - Fully remote HOW TO APPLY When you apply, lead with relevant experience; tell me how you've shipped React or Next.js apps that tracked complex regional data and how you kept performance sharp.
