Reddit Account Creation and Management

We are seeking a skilled freelancer to create and manage a Reddit account for our business. The ideal candidate will have experience in social media management and be familiar with Reddit's platform. Responsibilities include setting up the account, occasionally posting content that we provide, and managing interactions to enhance our brand presence. The goal is to increase our visibility and engagement on Reddit. Expectations for this role: - Set up and manage a business Reddit account in a way that is compliant with Reddit’s rules, norms, and community culture. - Build credibility gradually through genuine participation, rather than using the account as a direct advertising channel. - Identify and track relevant Australian and NSW focused subreddits, as well as broader communities where people ask questions about: * Town planning. * Development applications. * Council approvals. * Granny flats and secondary dwellings. * Dual occupancies. * Home renovations. * Home businesses. * Commercial fit-outs. * Cafes, restaurants, and retail approvals. * Heritage. * Flooding. * Bushfire requirements. * Subdivisions. * NSW Planning Portal. * Zoning. * Building approvals. - Monitor Reddit regularly for new posts and comments that are relevant to our services. - Identify high value questions where our expertise can genuinely help. - Read each post carefully and respond to the actual question being asked, rather than posting a generic answer. - Use our two business websites as an easy source of information when researching answers. - Supplement website information with reliable external research where needed. - Use AI as a drafting aid when appropriate. - Edit any AI-assisted draft so it sounds natural, human, and suitable for Reddit. - Ensure responses are written in Australian English (spelling, grammar, and tone). - Remove any wording that sounds overly polished, repetitive, robotic, or obviously AI generated. - Know when a fully original response is better than using AI at all. - Add value first, rather than leading with promotion. - Respect Reddit etiquette and avoid anything that could be seen as spam, manipulation, or self-promotion. - Follow each subreddit's rules before posting or commenting. - Respond professionally to follow up questions and keep the conversation helpful. - Escalate technical or complex planning questions internally where specialist input is needed. - Maintain records of activity, including threads answered, subreddits used, engagement received, and measurable traffic or lead outcomes. - Suggest new subreddit opportunities, discussion themes, and content ideas over time.
