Summary

Redesign an existing metal spool assembly (originally used in a sawing machine application) into two cost-effective, production-ready alternatives: (1) a sheet metal version, and (2) a CNC version machined. Zero custom tooling (no stamping dies, molds, or press tooling). Designs must use only standard shop processes. Material must be corrosion-resistant with a finish suitable for powder coating or spray paint. Deliverables must include complete, shop-ready drawings and models clear enough to send directly to machine shops for quoting and fabrication.
