Remote Legal Assistant- Personal Injury Claims

Rebecca Kay Sapp Law Firm is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Remote Legal Assistant to assist with insurance claims and administrative support for our personal injury cases. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable spending a significant portion of the day on the phone with U.S. insurance companies and can independently manage assigned tasks and follow-ups. Primary Responsibilities Call insurance companies to establish new auto accident claims Obtain and document claim numbers, adjuster information, and insurance details Follow up with insurance carriers regarding pending claims and adjuster assignments Draft Letters of Representation (LORs) Draft subrogation letters and notices Contact insurance companies regarding subrogation and lien information Update claim and insurance information in the firm's case management system Accurately document all calls and communications Upload and organize insurance correspondence and documents Track outstanding tasks and complete necessary follow-up Provide additional legal administrative support as needed Qualifications Excellent spoken and written English Comfortable making frequent outbound calls to U.S. insurance companies Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently in a remote environment Reliable internet and a quiet, professional workspace Comfortable using computers, email, phone systems, and case management software Previous legal, insurance, or claims experience required Previous U.S. personal injury law firm experience required Experience opening auto insurance claims and preparing LORs is a major plus This is a full-time remote position.
