Repairs & Maintenance Coordinator for Property Management Company in Florida

We are Emperor Rentals, a fast-growing vacation rental management company in Tampa Bay, Florida managing 100+ Airbnb and short-term rental properties. We're looking for a sharp, reliable, bilingual Maintenance Coordinator to join our team long-term and grow with us. You will work directly with our Repairs & Maintenance Manager and become the operational backbone of our maintenance department — keeping vendors moving, projects on track, and guests taken care of when something breaks. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHAT YOU'LL DO ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • Build and maintain relationships with our network of vendors and contractors (plumbers, electricians, HVAC techs, handymen, etc.) • Source new vendors, request quotes, and negotiate pricing • Dispatch vendors to properties and follow up until every job is 100% complete • Track open maintenance projects daily and keep our systems updated • Respond to maintenance emergencies quickly and calmly — coordinate the right people to solve the problem fast • Follow up on guest-reported issues and close the loop with our Guest Services team • Provide after-hours support when guest emergencies come up (rotating/as needed) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • Fluent English AND Spanish (spoken and written) — many of our vendors are Spanish-speaking, so this is a big plus • Experience in maintenance coordination, property management, vacation rentals, dispatching, or a similar operations role strongly preferred • Excellent phone communication skills — you'll be calling vendors daily and must be confident and professional • Extremely organized with strong follow-up habits — nothing falls through the cracks on your watch • Reliable computer, fast internet, and a quiet workspace • Available Monday–Friday during US Eastern business hours, plus willingness to help with after-hours guest emergencies • A problem-solver's mindset: you take ownership, you don't wait to be told twice, and you get things DONE ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ WHAT WE OFFER ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • $250 USD per week starting pay, paid every Monday — no waiting for monthly payouts • Raises based on performance — we promote and pay from within as you prove yourself • Full-time, stable, long-term position — this is a career, not a gig • Room to grow into leadership as the company scales — we're growing fast and we build our leaders from our own team • Direct mentorship from our management team • A supportive, established team (16 people and growing) that's been doing this at a high level ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ HOW TO APPLY ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ To show us you read this post carefully, please start your application with the word "EMPEROR" and include: 1.
