Research & Content Designer — Ongoing Interview-Based Research Series (Part-Time)
Worldwide
We're looking for a versatile freelancer to join an ongoing research project as a long-term collaborator — someone who can take raw interview data and turn it into polished, publish-ready research and marketing content on a recurring basis. About the project: Archetype of an Agency is a research series featuring off-the-record interviews with independent and exited health insurance/employee benefits brokerage founders across North America. We're capturing their growth playbooks, exit lessons, and forward-looking perspectives to publish synthesized, data-backed insights for the industry. New interviews come in continuously (roughly 2+ completed per week), so this is an ongoing production pipeline, not a one-time project. What you'll do: Review interview transcripts/notes and distill them into structured, thematic insights — identifying patterns, standout quotes, and data points across a growing body of interviews. Organize findings into a usable knowledge base (Claude) so insights stay searchable as the interview count grows. Write research-driven content from that synthesis: field-guide-style summaries, persona/archetype write-ups, LinkedIn posts, and periodic recap pieces aimed at an investor and industry audience. Design the visual materials that carry this content — both research-facing pieces (one-pagers, guides) and marketing/outreach materials (social graphics, email assets) Work as an ongoing, recurring contributor — this role scales with our interview cadence rather than ending at a single deliverable. You should have: A portfolio showing you can do all three: synthesize qualitative/interview data, write clearly for a business/investor audience, and design polished visual materials — not just one of the three. Experience turning messy qualitative input (interviews, transcripts, open-ended research) into structured, digestible output. Strong writing for a professional/investor audience — clear, credible, no fluff. Design skills in with an eye for editorial, non-templated layouts. Comfort working independently with light direction, and proactively flagging when source material is thin or unclear. Nice to have: familiarity with employee benefits, heathcare, insurance, financial services, or growth-equity/investor/PE content. Engagement details: Ongoing, part-time Hourly, budget depending on experience. Weekly async check-in; interview materials delivered to you on a rolling basis as they're completed.
