Residential TakeOff Reviewer and Coordinator

Summary

We are a Canadian building materials supplier. We price large residential projects by counting everything off the architect's drawings, matching each item to a product we sell, and handing the developer one priced package. Most of that counting is now automated. What we need is a careful person to check it before it goes anywhere. What you would do, every project Review roughly 84 marked-up drawings against our standard. You are not producing them. You are judging them. Find what the automation missed: an opening nobody counted, an exclusion with no reason written on it, a total whose parts do not add up, a label pointing at the wrong thing. Capture each problem as a screenshot with an annotation, so it is obvious in two seconds. Combine those with the open questions into ONE report and put it in front of our CEO. Own the delivery date, and say early when something is going to slip. You must be able to Read architectural drawings confidently. Floor plans, elevations, door and window schedules. This is the hard requirement and we cannot teach it quickly. Screenshot and annotate cleanly. Any tool is fine. The skill is knowing what to point at. Write short, plain English. You are writing for a CEO who reads one line and decides. Work in spreadsheets, and check that two totals of the same thing agree. Say "the software is wrong" and mean it. Two automated passes will already have approved what you are looking at. Hours Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, fully remote. Work your own daylight hours, with one condition: two hours a day must overlap our office in Vancouver, Canada. In the Philippines that is roughly 7:00 to 9:00 AM your time. In Pakistan it is roughly 8:00 to 10:00 PM your time. How to apply Apply here with your CV, Resume, and Portfolio of other Takeoff Packages you have worked on. What this job is not It is not data entry. It is not client facing. It is not a design or engineering role: you will never seal or stamp a drawing, and nothing you produce is for construction.
